Tumbi, also known as Ik Taara is a small instrument with a wooden tumba and a single string supported on a wooden stick. This instrument has always been associated with the Punjabi folk music. A true tumbi player can leave the audience mesmerized with the flick of his forefingers - as this is how the instrument is played
