Kanai Lal & Sons was established in 1940 by Sh Kanai Lal Bhowmik at Kolkata. He gained vast knowledge about Indian Classical Instruments under the expert guidance of Yogesh Chakraborty, Hiren Roy and Radha Krishna Sharma.
Currently Kanai Lal & Sons is managed by Subhas Bhowmik who joined his father's business at a young age and helped him reach greater heights. He has vast knowledge about the various physical and technical aspects of Indian Musical Instruments. All the instruments are manufactured from scratch and they make sure that quality control is managed at each stage. This is the reason that they have been producing world class instruments for a long time.
